(Intro)

(Verse 1)
C F
Oh, I stand in a quandary in front of the laundry
C
and deep in my heart there's a hurt.
C Am7 F D
Lost the phone and address of the girl I love best,
G C F
wrote it all on the cuff of my shirt.

G C F
and that shirt of mine's nowhere in sight.

(Chorus)
F Bb F
Aw, her hair was red and her eyes were blue and I
G C F
dream of holding her tight..(hold me tight.)
Bb C D
But the moon's on the rise and there's tears in my eyes
G C
cause my arms will be empty tonight.

(Verse 3)

the girls think I'm down here to flirt.

name off the cuff of my shirt.
