Foster the People es una banda estadounidense de teen-indie y pop formada en Los Ángeles, California, en el 2009. La banda esta compuesta por: Mark Foster (voz, teclados, piano, sintetizadores, guitarra, programación, percusión), Mark Pontius (batería y percusión adicional), y Cubbie Fink (bajo y coros).
Mark Foster originalmente llamó a su banda «Foster & The People», pero la gente escuchó mal como «Foster the People». Finalmente el nombre se quedo por que sonaba como «Cuida de la gente» o «hacer algo por la gente»

Hey, these are the chords I worked out just from listening to the song, not sure
if they're 100 % but it sounds pretty decent when I play it. Note that the A# and
the Gm in the chorus should be played barring the 6th and 10th frets respectively
for a better sound. The strumming pattern's easy enough to work out for yourself.
