Fightstar es un grupo oriundo de Londres, Reino Unido, cuyo estilo ha sido definido como una mezcla entre post hardcore, rock y metal.
Sus componentes son Alex Westaway (guitarra y voz), Dan Haigh (bajo), Omar Abidi (batería) y Charlie Simpson (guitarra y voz); este último anteriormente conocido por haber formado parte del grupo pop rock Busted, que abandonó por no sentirse identificado con la música y el estilo de banda comercial para adolescentes que caracterizaba a este grupo.
