Biografía:
Este grupo neoyorquino se formó en 1974, primero con el nombre de "New York City Players", pero cambiaron rapidamente su nombre al de CAMEO porque la gente los confundia con otro grupo funk del momento llamado "Ohio Players". Empezo como un grupo marcado por un funky muy grave i rítmico pero en seguida cambiaron a un estilo más dinámico y claramente pensado para la pista de baile.
