Biografía:
Robert Thomas Velline, más conocido como Bobby Vee, nació en Fargo (Dakota del Norte, EE UU). Fue todo un ídolo de adolescentes en los años 60, cuando la invasión británica comenzaba a llegar a Norteamérica. Junto a su hermano Bill y su amigo Bob Korum formó el grupo The Shadows (que nada tenía que ver con la formación británica del mismo nombre), siempre bajo la influencia de Buddy Holly. Vee fue uno de los muchos cantantes de la factoría del Brill Building de Nueva York.
