Chromatics son originarios de Portland, Oregon, ciudad que ha estado destacando en los últimos dos años, por sus interesantes propuestas musicales.
Ellos comenzaron a ganar atención cuando su canción “Tick of the Clock” formó parte del soundtrack de la película protagonizada por Ryan Gosling, “Drive“. Después de eso vino su tercer LP titulado “Night Drive“. Pero antes de eso, la banda era adjetivada como “ruidosa” y Punk y Lo-fi.
