Bette Midler (Honolulú, 1 de diciembre de 1945) es una cantante de música pop y actriz estadounidense.
Nació en Honolulú, Hawái, donde creció. Hasta los 13 años no tuvo ocasión de ver la televisión. Su hermano menor padecía de una discapacidad mental, de forma que sus padres debían prestarle atención continua.
