Biografía:
Bauhaus es un banda de rock británica (formada en Northampton en 1978) que fue popular en los 80. La banda tomó su nombre de la escuela de diseño alemana Bauhaus, aunque en un principio se llamaron Bauhaus 1919 (año de fundación de ésta), perdiendo la última parte antes del primer año.
A pesar de que habían bandas precursoras del estilo gótico, muchos consideran a Bauhaus la primera banda en dicho estilo. Bauhaus combinaba un gran número de influencias punk y glam rock.

The intro. is a very simple alternation between the open E and D
strings, then fingering the F on the first fret of the E.
