Biografía:
Balzac se formó en Osaka, Japón en 1992 por Hirosuke Nishiyama, quien es el único miembro original de la banda. Actualmente la banda está compuesta por Hirosuke Nishiyama (voz), Atushi Nakagawa (Guitarra/Coros), Akio Imai (Bajo/Coros) y Takayuki Manabe (Batería/Efectos Digitales/Coros).
Antes de formar Balzac, Hirosuke fue parte de de otra banda llamada Astrozombies, la cual estaba fuertemente influenciada por los legendarios rockeros japoneses, Gastunk.
