Anggun Cipta Sasmi nació el 29 de Abril de 1974 en Jakarta (Indonesia). Es una cantante/compositora de nacionalidad francesa. Su nombre significa agraciada' en indonesio. Anggun es reconocida como la cantante asiática que más música vende fuera de Asia y ha dejado su huella en la historia como la primer asiática en irrumpir en la escena de la música internacional. Es muy conocida en Europa, particularmente en Francia e Italia, como también en muchos lugares de su continente.
