Biografía:
Andy Shauf is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Regina, Saskatchewan. He plays several instruments, including clarinet.
Known for honest, self-reflective songs as well as captivating lyrical works of fiction and an intimate live show, Shauf is considered one of the most intriguing emerging songwriters around.
His release, The Bearer of Bad News, explores themes of uncertainty, curiosity and spirituality. “I think spirituality is a part of life whether you are religious or not, even if you’re just superstitious.

I only heard the song tonight so ignore the errors. The chords sound kind of correct to
me, but I couldn't work out the intro so that's almost certainly messed up. Put a capo
on the third fret with standard tuning, and ignore the chord names. The chords
eventually repeat with minor variations.

heard the sirens in the distance
lit his cigarette

exhaled smoke and said, "here's to hoping"
