Allday tornou-se ativo em 2011, quando Gaynor começou o upload de sua música gratuitamente online. Seguindo suas obras se tornando cada vez mais popular, ele se mudou para Melbourne para seguir uma carreira séria. Seus trabalhos foram influenciados por bandas como Silverchair, Frank Ocean e TLC.
