Alela Diane es de Nevada City y vive en California. Una de sus canciones mas conocidas es The Rifle, una especie de tapiz impresionista que refleja las emociones de una joven que pierde la noción de "hogar" como consecuencia del divorcio de sus padres y la venta de su casa natal. Plena de imagenes almidonadas y con una obsesiva melodía, Alela describe su canción como si se tratara de un sueño, en el que algo "oscuro" sale del bosque que rodea su casa y a su familia.

Not positive that the G Major 7th chord is correct, but its what the guitarist in the first video seems
to be doing, and it sounds ok to me. I'm not sure whether she sings "burning" or "hurting" in the chorus.
In the first video it sounds like she sings "hurting" both times, but in the second video it seems like
"burning" in the first chorus, then "hurting" in the second. Any input there is appreciated.
