Biografía:
Albert Allick "Al" Bowlly (7 Enero1899 – 17 Abril 1941) fue un popular cantante británico de Jazz durante la década de 1930, lo que hace más de 1.000 grabaciones entre 1927 y 1941. Bowlly mostró una amplia gama de material no superada por ningún otro artista contemporáneo salvo quizás Bing Crosby. Fue asesinado por la explosión de una mina de paracaídas fuera de su piso en Jermyn Street, Londres durante los bombardeos.
