Biografía:
Nacida el 8 de junio de 1969, en San Diego, California. Sus padres la llamaron Abra en honor a la protagonista de Al Este del Edén, de John Steinbeck. Creció en la Puna, Hawai , en un hogar bohemio bajo una muy fuerte influencia de jazz con músicos invitados. Cuando tenía 19 años se unió a Poi Dog Pondering con un grupo de amigos, mudándose a Los Angeles en 1988 y Austin en 1992. Moore dejó la banda poco después para seguir una carrera en solitario.
