Biografía:
En la decadencia de The Jesus and Mary Chain, grupos como A Place to Bury Strangers se hacen mucho más que necesarios: vitales, imprescindibles, sucios.
Ruidosos -en la lentitud y en la rapidez- el grupo está compuesto por tres chicos de Brooklyn, Nueva York, liderados por Oliver Ackermann.
Ackermann fabrica sus propios pedales, que han sido usados por grupos como Lightning Bolt, Serena Maneesh, Wilco, Spoon o TV on the Radio y fue miembro de los desaparecidos Skywave, un grupo de dreampop de Fredericksburg.
