Biografía:
The Frames es una banda irlandesa originaria de Dublín.
Desde 2004, la banda está conformada por Glen Hansard (voz, guitarra), Joe Doyle (bajo, coros), Colm MacConIomaire (violín, teclado y coros) Rob Bochnik (primera guitarra), and Johnny Boyle (batería).
En Estados Unidos, la banda ha editado sus discos bajo el nombre The Frames DC, para evitar cualquier tipo de confusión con una banda estadounidense del mismo nombre.
The Frames se creó en 1990 y desde entonces ha editado seis discos.
