[Verse 1]

If you [F]knew that you [C]would die today

If you [F]knew that love can [C]break you heart
When you're [Dm]down so low, you [Bb]can not fall
Would you [F]change? [C] Would you [Dm*]change? [Bb]

[Chorus]

[Gm]How bad, how good, does it need to [F]get? [C] [Riff]
[Gm]How many losses, how much re[F]-gret? [C] [Riff]
[Gm]What chain reaction would cause an [F]effect? [C] [Riff]
[Gm]Makes you turn around, [C] Makes you try to explain, [Bb]
Makes you forgive and forget, [Gm] Makes you cha-a-a-nge.
[Dm*] [Bb] Makes you [F]change. [C]
Dm* Bb F C

If you [F]knew that you would [C]be alone
Knowing [Dm]right, but [Bb]being wrong
Would you [F]change? [C] Would you [Dm*]change? [Bb]

If you [F]knew that you would [C]find a truth
That [Dm]brings a pain, that [Bb]can't be soothed
Would you [F]change? [C] Would you [Dm*]change? [Bb]

[Chorus]

[Gm]How bad, how good, does it need to [F]get? [C] [Riff]
[Gm]How many losses, how much re[F]-gret? [C] [Riff]
[Gm]What chain reaction would cause an [F]effect? [C] [Riff]

[A]Are you so upright, you can't be [Dm]bent?
If it [C]comes to blows,
[A]Are you so sure you [A7]won't be [Dm]crawling?
If [C]not for the good, why risk [Gm]falling?
Why risk [C]falling?

[Verse 5]

If [F]everything you [C]think you know
[Dm]Makes your life un[Bb]-bearable
Would you [F]change? [C] Would you [Dm*]change? [Bb]
