Tom Jones, nombre artístico de Sir Thomas John Woodward, es un cantante, actor y Caballero de la Corona Británica nacido en Treforest, Pontypridd, una localidad cerca de Cardiff, Gales el 7 de junio de 1940 y ha vendido cerca de 70 millones de discos en todo el mundo.

Jones se hizo conocido en la década de 1960 por su extravagante estilo y por su sensualidad, elementos que han sido claves en su imagen como artista.

Su carrera se inicia en 1963 cuando era vocalista del grupo Tommy Scott & The Senators
