Biografía:
El cantante y compositor Blake Sennett se hizo conocido al escribir temas y tocar con la banda Indie Rock de Los Angeles, Rilo Kiley. Mientras que la banda se encontraba promoviendo su segundo album, The Execution of All Things, Jenny Lewis, a su vez, se encontraba grabando junto a The Postal Service. Sennett creó el sonido indie rock meloso que representa al estilo de The Elected. Mezclando el indie rock adquirido de Rilo Kiley, la banda fue juntando fans de distintos países
