The Driver Era é uma banda/duo musical americano de música alternativa composto pelos irmãos ex-membros da banda R5: Rocky e Ross Lynch. Foi formada oficialmente em 1 de Março de 2018 e até o momento tem um álbum lançado e uma digressão pelos EUA.
No dia 1 de Março de 2018, as redes sociais da banda R5 tiveram o seu nome trocado para "The Driver Era", assim como todas as publicações eliminadas. No dia 2 de Março, foi confirmado que "The Driver Era" se tratava de uma nova banda onde Ross e Rocky tomavam o controlo principal.
