Biografía:
El grupo disco y de soul refinado Sister Sledge se formó en 1971 en Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, EE.UU. Las hermanas Debi, Kim, Joni y Kathy tenían edades comprendidas entre los 12 y los 16 años cuando lanzaron su primer single "Time Will Tell". Su primer sencillo en la lista de UK fue "Mama Never Told Me" y en las listas americanas con "Love Don't You Go Through No Changes On Me," en 1975.
En un momento dado, surgió un despegue muy importante al ser producidas por Nile Rodgers y Bernard Edwards, de Chic.
