Biografía:
Whirr es una banda estadounidense de shoegaze del área de la Bahía de San Francisco. El grupo se formó en 2010, originalmente como Whirl, pero tuvo que cambiar legalmente su nombre después de que una mujer que interpretaba versiones acústicas de canciones de Black Sabbath marcara el nombre y amenazara con una demanda. El sonido de Whirr a menudo se compara con My Bloody Valentine y Slowdive . El guitarrista fundador Nick Bassett también tocó en la banda Deafheaven que rodea e incluye el lanzamiento de su álbum de 2011 Roads to Judah.
