Twisted Sister es una banda estadounidense de Glam Metal, Heavy Metal y Hard Rock formada en la ciudad de Nueva York. Su trabajo fusiona las tácticas impactantes de Alice Cooper, el humor rebelde de la nueva ola del metal britanico (NWOBHM), el estilo de New York Dolls y el extravagante maquillaje de KISS. El grupo tiene una imagen de Glam Metal e implenta un sonido como el de las clásicas bandas de Heavy Metal como Judas Priest y Motörhead, al igual que algunas bandas de Glam Metal como Poison y Ratt.
