Biografía:
Tocotronic es una banda de rock alemán, fundada a finales de 1993. Junto con bandas como Blumfeld y Die Sterne es considerada parte del movimiento "Hamburger Schule" o Clase de Hamburgo, que es básicamente un movimiento musical de finales de los años ochenta, el cual tiene elementos del punk y del grunge y algo del pop. Siendo parte importante de la cultura juvenil (Jugendkultur) alemana que ha traído consigo el uso de su propio idioma en la música pop.
