Them Crooked Vultures es una banda de hard rock formada por Josh Homme (Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age, Desert Sessions) en la guitarra y voces, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) en la bateria y John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) en el bajo, teclados y slide, Además de contar con la participación de Alain Johannes (What Is This?, Eleven, Queens of the Stone Age) como guitarrista rítmico en vivo.
El álbum debut de la banda fue lanzado el 16 de noviembre de 2009 en Reino Unido y el 17 en Estados Unidos.
