Biografía:
Grupo procedente de Nueva York, máximo exponente de lo que se denominó "blue-eyed soul", en clara alusión a que era soul hecho por músicos blancos. El grupo estaba compuesto por el teclista y cantante Felix Cavaliere, el guitarrista Gene Cornish, el vocalista Eddie Brigati y el batería Dino Danelli.
Felix Cavaliere, nacido Pelham, Nueva York, tuvo una formación clásica como pianista antes de entrar a formar parte de los Stereos, de los cuales era el único miembro blanco.
