Biografía:
The Wedding Present es una banda post punk formada en Leeds, Inglaterra, en 1985 de las cenizas de The Lost Pandas. El sonido de la banda fue evolucionando desde el punk a un exquisito pop en la vena de sus obvias influencias, The Fall, Buzzcocks y Gang of Four.
Hay quien dice que The Wedding Present escribía las mejores letras para dedicar a mujeres y quizás sea cierto.
