The War On Drugs

Show Me The Coast

by The War On Drugs
The War On Drugs

the whole song is based on a jam of the D chord, play around D chord, put the pinkie on the 3rd string/ 4th
fret and on the 4th string/4th fret (relative to the capo)when you see * in the tab.
I saw some lives and this one is the one that sounds better to me.

There is no complete lyric's text yet, this text isn't perfect so all the contribution are more than
welcome.

p.s. this is one of a great song

intro D

Verse

D
I don't mind feeling bad, about the things I've never had
D
and I don't really think about much it all
D
down in the ditch I know
D
oh the time it took too
D
rearrange,said it all

D
Been around this town so long it hurts, yeah
D
Could you show me something new?
D
Show me the coast, take me somewhere I’ve never been before
D
Come on, take it easy, take it slow *

Bridge part
Jam on D chord (pinkie on 3rd str/4th fret - 4th str/ 4th fret)

D
but I was made to be the ranger, with a magnum of steel
D
and in the cold hot danger, that I've seen before
D
that I was losing my feel?
D
and on my left I saw my thoughts piled high
D
while on my right I saw the flame
D
and it was burning, like I've never seen before yeah
D
You know I had to go on over that way

Chorus

D

and it's all right, to hide behind and say
D
that you don't know what he is gonna hold
D
and it's alright, I don't wanna say
D
we've been living in the swamp
D
show me the coast baby

it's all D for the whole song

for the rest of the song I understand some words and senteces but they dont really make much sense, sorry for
my mishearing/ misunderstanding of the lyrics of this epic song.
Cheers
