Biografía:
The Vaselines fue una banda escocesa de Edimburgo ; fue fundada en el año 1986 por Eugene Kelly y Frances McKee a la que luego se sumaron James Seenan y Charly Kelly.
La historia musical de la banda , en cuanto a registros , tiene sus inicios con la grabación de sus primeros singles en 1987; esto se produjo gracias a la amistad con Stephen McRobbie, de la banda escocesa The Pastels, es así como bajo el sello 53rd & 3rd Records grabaron sus dos primeros singles "Son of a Gun" y "Dying for It"
