The Starting Line es una banda pop punk de Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, EEUU, que se formó en 1999.
En la actualidad tienen contrato con Virgin Records.
En 1999, el guitarrista Matt Watts le envió un correo electrónico al vocalista y bajista Kenny Vasoli. Quería saber si Vasoli, que por entonces tenía 14 años y tocaba en una banda llamada Smash Adams, estaría interesado en tocar en Jamming And Shit.

In this album, Kenny's voice is more matured than 2005's Based On A True story and
Say It Like You Mean It. This album is very experimental compared to the past 2. This sounds
