Biografía:
The Soup Dragons se formó en Bellshill, una ciudad cerca de Glasgow, en 1985. La formación inicial fue Sean Dickson (cantante, guitarra solista), Jim McCulloch (guitarra, segunda voz), al que sustituirá Ian Whitehall y Sushil K. Dade (contrabajo). El bateria original, Ross A. Sinclair, salió del grupo después del primer álbum, This is Our Art, para seguir su propia carrera en el mundo del arte, y fue reemplazado por Paul Quinn. La mayoría de sus canciones fueron escritas por Dickson, mientras que algunos fueron co-escritas con McCulloch.
