Biografía:
The Slackers son una de las más conocidas bandas de la escena SKA emergidas de la ciudad de Nueva York, después de haberse formado en Brooklyn en 1991. El sonido de la banda es una mezcla de Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae, Dub, Soul, Garage Rock y Jazz. Su popularidad y carisma ha sido indispensable en su prolífica carrera, han hecho giras por América del Norte, Europa y otros lugares; actualmente se encuentran bajo el sello Hellcat Records.
