The Seldom Scene

Biografía:

The Seldom Scene is an American bluegrass band formed in 1971 in Bethesda, Maryland out of the weekly jam sessions in the basement of banjo player Ben Eldridge. E B E
It's an easy ride from good times to the blues

Hell I know I've done you wrong didn't take me long
E B E B
It's an easy ride from good times to the blues

E B
1. Driving ninety nine and making time
C#m A
Hauling for the Red Ball line
E B
A hundred thousand hours behind the wheel
E B
Just a little smile from you

The rig is running thru
E B E B
Took me fifty nights alone to break with you

Chorus

2 (same chords as 1.)
Starlight cafe out in sixty four
Waitress said she'd offer more
The sun was going down in her life too
Strong coffee and a ten watt lover
Looking to the rooms to cover
My early morning thoughts roll back to you

Bridge:
A B E B
I've been riding hard and my wheels call your name
Ab C#m F#m B
Well San Antone you summer love how could it be the same
E B
You old gray mare you wait
C#m A
Said I were no saint
E B E B
If you can live with that your way you'll be again

Chorus
