Biografía:
Este grupo pop comenzó en Union City, Indiana, USA en 1962. Los miembros originales, todos de la ciudad Union City fueron guitarrista Ricky Zehringer (después conocido como Rick Derringer), su hermano Randy a la bateria, el bajista Dennis Kelly. Estos se dieron a conocer como The Rick Z Combo y más tarde como Rick and the Raiders. Cuando Kelly se marcho para estudiar, a los Zehringers se unió el bajista Randy Jo Hobbs, saxofonista Sean Michaels y en teclados Ronnie Brandon.
