Rancid es una banda de punk rock y ska americana, formada en 1991 en Berkeley, California, encabezaron el resurgimiento del punk tras los años 1980.

El estilo de Rancid pasa del punk y el hardcore por el ska, el reggae, el rocksteady, y algunas de rub-a-dub y funk. Entre el gran público, Rancid es conocido por las canciones "Ruby Soho" y "Time Bomb" del disco de 1995 ...And Out Come the Wolves.
