Biografía:
The Idle Race fue una banda inglesa originaria de Birmingham, activa desde la década de 1960 hasta comienzos de la década de 1970, que tuo un seguimiento de cierto culto, pero nunca disfrutó de un éxito comercial masivo. Fue una de las primeras bandas y el lanzamiento de Jeff Lynne. En la trayectoria de la historia del rock supuso un eslabón perdido para bandas como "The Nightriders", Steve Gibbons Band, The Move, Electric Light Orchestra. A pesar de su corta historia, se destacaron en la música psicodélica, con tres álbumes lanzados.
