Biografía:
The Hives es una banda de garage rock originaria de Fagersta, Suecia. La banda es conocida por sus enérgicas presentaciones en vivo y por sus vestuarios en blanco y negro.Tienen influencias de grupos tales como The Fleshtones, The Rolling Stones, The Stooges, Devo, The Cramps, The Ramones, entre otros.
Han jugado con muchos estilos, además del ya nombrado Garage Rock, también han usado el Indie,o Punk Rock como su modelo más poderoso.
The Hives se formaron en 1993 y lanzaron su álbum debut, el EP Oh Lord! When? How?, en 1996.
