Banda californiana de mediados de los sesenta formada por Bruce Clawson a la guitarra solista, Tim Granada con la guitarra rítmica, Robbie Ladewig al bajo, empuñando las baquetas Rick Morinini los dos primeros singles y en los dos siguientes Randy Busby, y Tony Rivas al saxofón, la pandereta y los coros.
The Dovers tuvo una vida muy corta: sólo graba cuatro singles para Miramar, lo que supone un total de ocho temas de garage rock con toques pop, folk y acid.
