Biografía:
Soul´n´roll 1995, Detroit. Mary Restrepo y Steve Shaw comparten apartamento y se pasan el día escuchando viejos vinilos de R&B de los cincuenta y los sesenta. Encuentran a la cantante Rachel Nagy, ex carnicera y stripper. Se convierten en The Detroit Cobras y, casi diez años después, siguen en activo con "Tied & True".
Antes de "Baby" estuvieron ”Mink, Rat Or Rabbit” y “Love Life And Leaving”, pero aquí llegaron por primera vez oficialmente con el magnífico Ep “Seven Easy Pieces”.
