Biografía:
The Cult es una banda inglesa de Hard rock y Rock gótico. A mediados de los 80's, The Cult fue una de las principales bandas que hicieron resurgir el Hard rock en Inglaterra; una banda de rock con algunos toques Psicodélicos, influenciados principalmente por el misticismo de The Doors y el estilo de las guitarras de hard rock de Led Zeppelin y AC/DC. La banda comenzó con un estilo rock gótico post-punk[1] , y fue evolucionando hacia el Hard rock a partir del disco "Electric" (1987).
