Biografía:
The Butchies es una banda estadounidense conformada por la vocalista y guitarrista Kaia Wilson, la bajista Allison Martlew y la baterista Melissa York.
Las tres mujeres de esta banda son lesbianas-feministas y su música es punk-rock. Tienen ya cuatro discos en su carrera, el primero de 1998 “Are We Not Femme?”; posteriormente "Population:1975"; “3” en el 2001 y “Make Yr Life” en el año 2003.
