Biografía:
El trío vocal estuvo formado por las Hermanas LaVerne Sophie Andrews (contralto, 6 de julio de 1911 - 8 de mayo de 1967); Maxene Angelyn Andrews (soprano; 3 de enero de 1916 - 21 de octubre de 1995) y Patricia Marie Andrews, también conocida como Patty, (mezzosoprano y cantante principal, 16 de febrero de 1918 - 30 de enero de 2013). De origen familiar greconoruego, debutaron juntas en un espectáculo para niños, y su enorme éxito animó a sus padres a seguir fomentando en ellas el gusanillo de la comedia musical.
