Biografía:
Terry Callier (nacido el 24 de mayo de 1945) es un guitarrista y cantautor de jazz, soul y folk de Chicago, Illinois.
Callier, un amigo de la infancia de Curtis Mayfield, comenzó a grabar en 1963 pero nunca llegó estrellato a pesar de una serie de éxitos en los años 1960 y 1970. En 1983, obtuvo la custodia de su hija Sundiata de 12 años de edad, y decidió retirarse de la música para buscar una fuente fija de ingresos. Tomó clases de programación de computadoras y consiguió un trabajo en la Universidad de Chicago en 1984.
