Tv Personalities son probablemente la banda de culto mas elegante del Reino Unido. Desde su formación en 1977 han editado 10 discos y cambiado numerosas veces de formación, centrada siempre en la figura del compositor Dan Treacy, tan brillante como imprevisible.
Su ultimo disco “My dark places”, según Xavi Sanchez Pons de Mondo Sonoro, muestra a: <<…Treacy en su estado más puro, libre y revelador>>, y sobretodo, canciones como 'Part Time punks',
