Biografía:
Taproot es un grupo de nu metal/post-grunge, procedentes de los Estados Unidos. La banda se formó en 1997 en Ann Arbor, Michigan, y se ha ganado un nombre en la escena de la música nu metal al ir de gira con bandas como Linkin Park y Ko?n.
En 1998, enviaron su demo al cantante de Limp Bizkit, Fred Durst. Impresionado por el material les ofreció un contrato discográfico con Interscope Records (la discográfica de Limp Bizkit en aquella época).
