Tanita Tikaram, nacida el 12 de Agosto de 1969, es una cantaautora pop/folk inglesa, popularmente conocida por los singles "Twist in My Sobriety" y "Good Tradition" pertenecientes a su album de debut "Ancient Heart", publicado en 1988.
Sus siguientes trabajos no llegaron a alcanzar el mismo éxito musical a pesar de que ha publicado su música hasta 2005.
Su estilo se basa en su voz grave, su guitarra acústica y en sus letras peculiares y poéticas.
