Biografía:
T. Rex (originalmente llamada Tyrannosaurus Rex) fue una banda de rock inglesa fundada en Londres en los años 60 que tuvo éxito como grupo de glam rock en los años 70. La banda fue fundada por Marc Bolan en 1967 y tocó sólo una vez como un quinteto en The Roundhouse antes de separarse. Posteriormente quedó reducida a dúo con Marc Bolan y Steve Took, editando tres albumes producidos por Tony Visconti. El sonido era una especie de Folk Rock de una tierra imaginaria, con guitarras acústicas y montones de diferentes y exóticas percusiones.
