by Stonewall Jackson
Stonewall Jackson

Biografía:

Stone wall Jackson, born in Tabor City, North Carolina November 6, 1932, is an American country singer and musician who achieved his greatest fame during country's golden honky tonk era in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was named after the famous general, Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson, who was an ancestor. His most popular song was "Waterloo" in 1959. C G7
The night winds whisper softly why did you do her wrong

F C
In the distance there's a coyote howl sounds like his love is gone

C7 F
My heart is chilled by a whippoorwill as the train pulls out with you

C G7 C
Listen close and you can almost hear the blues

F C
You can almost hear the blues in the rain that's pouring down

F C G7
That lovely crackle to the fire seems to have a lonesome sound

C C7 F
As I walk the time away just listen to my shoes

C G7 C
Listen close and you can almost hear the blues

G7
The rumble of the river flowing by my cabin door

F C
I could swear I heard it tell me son she won't be back no more

C7 F
As the night winds whine a coyote pines my heart cries out for you
