Biografía:
Soundgarden fue una banda de rock estadounidense formada en Seattle, Washington en 1984. Integrada por Chris Cornell en la guitarra y voz, Kim Thayil como guitarra principal, Matt Cameron en la bateria y Ben Shepherd en el bajo, tras abandonar Hiro Yamamoto el grupo después de grabar el disco Louder Than Love.
Cornell se mantuvo en la banda hasta su muerte en Mayo de 2017.
Se les suele considerar como una de las cuatro grandes bandas del grunge junto a Nirvana, Alice in Chains y Pearl Jam.
